Task 1
I agree with the first decision because the process described is not very technical and does lack any technical skills. They could have told the person to do other options to allow them to reset their settings easier. It's also aimed to a non-technical audience instead of a technical audience who would be more willing to undertake more complicated ways of coming to a resolution.

I agree with the mark scheme because they are using very basic language and understanding when they are describing. If I was in the scenario, I would lay it out to start at one point and then keep moving through the other trouble shooting methods until one of them works.
Task 2
I agree with what the examiner said because the student seemed to be asking questions towards the end about what has already been asked and is not showing any clear understanding of what is being asked.

With the email, the one that is being sent to the business manager is more suited to a technical audience

Task 3
It seems that the student has got the total costs of the services wrong. This is due to the monthly subscriptions not being taken into account. AWS seems to be pointless in context to the business. He has no given a valid reason for point AWS into his project proposal and he's reasoning is full of grammatical errors. This then means anyone trying why he chose he to put it there would I very hard to figuring out he is saying. The examples given in his reasoning are not relevant for the company he is proposing it too.

Grade C

Task 1

Although the way to reset the network configuration isn't wrong, it doesn't describe how the default gateway wasn't wrong and that hasn't been acknowledged.

On the second part, there are clear and multiple ways of different troubleshooting techniques that someone can use to try and find the root cause of the problem. They also provide a fishbone diagram, showing how they concluded.

The student needs to accommodate more for non-technical audiences. Most people are not going to understand what a Class C or Class A network is. Also most people are not going to know how to change the IP address of a device so clear instructions must be given.

Task 2

Questions have not been answered correctly or the person did not understand the questions he was asking. He used to many sweeping generalization when making the questions so when he did the interview the interviewee didn't know how to answer the questions. The student should have combined a lot of these questions together, as well as this they should have also asked if they even had servers in the first so time
