1. Three essential features for presentation software:
  • A text editor with custom editing
  • A method for inserting editing and resizing graphics 
  • A method to organize and display the slideshow sequentially

2. How presentations can be used in sales meetings

  • They can be used to discuss opportunities for the sales team to discuss current sales, new products and there information which enables them to carry out their job roles effectively. 

3. Difference between an info-graphic poster and a info-poster

  • A poster is a subjective and focuses on qualities and storytelling as opposed to quantifiable data. An info graphic focuses on the quantifiable data and translates it into complex data visualizations.

4. Discuss how dashboards are used within a business context.

  • Dashboards are used to track key performance indicators and metrics and so on that are relevant to the business. It provides a visualization of complex data. This makes it easier for the user to establish current performance quickly.

 5. Explain the difference between charts and graphs

  • A graph of chart in fact all graphs are charts, but not all charts are graphs. The term chart includes a large number of methods for presenting information. Graphs are just one of these methods that presents data in a visual format.

Global RTS The trip was in the morning on the 28th March 2025, Will and Patrick organised it. The purpose of the trip was to gain experience in the aviation industry, specifically air traffic control, using a simulator. We were shown how there simulators work and we were shown how to use them as well as being able to communicate using the aviation alphabet. We met people who worked there, learning how to become an air traffic controller. We used there main sim that used 4 big TVs to show a graphically simulated view of a run way from the view of a tower. We also communicated with headsets to simulate how real air traffic controllers communicate to pilots.
